[Close Window] Frequently asked questions   The message "Unfortunately there are either no properties available for these dates that match your search criteria or a minimum night stay rule applies. You can try broadening your Area and/or Category criteria, see the Help file or check the properties availability calendars." How do I check whether a minimum stay applies to the period I'm looking for?   When I try to make a reservation, I get a message that my Credit Card details are invalid ,   When I make a reservation, are my Credit Card details secure?   How do I find the tariffs for the properties?   How do I find the tariffs for a particular property?   What are the Select Area and Category boxes for?   I wish to stay at a particular property. How do I check the availability to see when it is available?   Am I able to book more than one property at the same time?   What is the Promotion Code box for?   We have a group of 3 families with a total of 17 people but, when we search for available properties for this number, nothing shows up as being available.   Can I use the On-Line Booking Manager to make additional payments?   Can I convert the tariff to another currency?   Can I book by phone?   Can I see larger images or more information on a property?     How do I find the tariffs for the properties?  We endeavour to offer the lowest rates possible relative to our costs. Our nightly rates are, therefore, calculated on -                1. The length of your stay. 2.  The time of the year.  3. The number of guests  4. The individual property. The simplest way to check the tariff for a given period is to open the Search & Availability Page if not already open.                                                   1.  Select the Area and/or Category you prefer (Lakeside, Beachside or Raffertys Resort)                   2.  Enter your Check-in & Check-out dates 3.  Enter the number of guests                                                  4.  Enter a Promotion Code (if applicable) (See current promotions)              5.  Click the Check Availability button. The system will select and show all the properties that are available for the period you're looking at that suit your particular criteria, together with the total rate for your stay with our "Stay longer ... Pay less" discount already applied. (If there are no properties available for the Area you selected, OBM will show all other available properties) You can get more details on each particular property by clicking the More Info link above each tariff. You can also check tariffs for individual properties by clicking the link at the bottom of each property's feature page on our websites and following the Steps 2 to 4 above. If you're interested in a particular property, click HERE [Close Window] TOP   Can I convert the tariff to another currency?  Click HERE to convert the tariff to another currency. There is also a Currency Converter Link on the top right hand side of the Check Availability page. [Close Window] TOP   When I make a reservation, are my Credit Card details secure?  Yes, totally. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption is used for all transactions. The Certificate is issued to www.lakeshores.com and is the same system used by Banks and other financial institutions. This industry standard technology assures you that your personal information is 99.9% safe. All payments are then passed through a secure payment gateway.  A padlock symbol or similar, will appear on your Brower once the system transfers to the secure site and the web address will start with https:// which also indicates that the site is secure. The information you provide is always secure and you will receive an email receipt from our Payment Gateway as soon as your credit card transaction is processed, together with your reservation details. This is then followed by a 3rd email advising you that your reservation has been confirmed. You may also book online with Bank Transfer, however, your deposit or payment must be received into our Bank account within 48 hours or the reservation will be automatically cancelled. On receipt of your deposit, you receive an amended reservation to confirm your booking. If you are concerned about paying online then please contact us and we will be delighted to assist you make payment via other methods. TOP   When I try to make a reservation, I get a message that my Credit Card details are invalid,  Provided the Credit Card details you've entered are correct, this will occur if you have not selected the correct Credit Card type (Mastercard or Visa). The system defaults to MasterCard. If you have a Visa Card, select it from the dropdown menu. TOP   What does "Order properties by area" mean?  If your preference of location is, say, for somewhere near the beach, clicking the Category Beachside properties  will bring up all the available Beachside properties. If you have also selected a particular suburb from the Select Area box, it will only show availability for that area. If there are no properties currently available for your preferred location, try broadening your search to either another area or select ALL areas. Using these filters will speed up the Search process. TOP   The message "Unfortunately there are either no properties available for these dates that match your search criteria or a minimum night stay rule applies. How do I check whether a minimum stay applies to the period I'm looking for?  We have a minimum stay of 2 nights. 3 nights over Public Holiday periods and 5 nights over the Christmas/New Year School Holiday period. TOP   I wish to stay at a particular property. How do I check the availability to see when it is available?  You can check availability and tariffs for a particular property by firstly, ensuring that all properties are showing on the Search Engine. (click on your preferred suburb area at the top of the page (in black type). On the right hand side beside each property's name, there are 4 links -  Photos  |  Map -|  Check Availability  |  More Info  |  You can check availability in monthly blocks by clicking Check Availability and precise dates with the tariff calculated by clicking More Info and entering the dates using the small calendar icons together with the number of guests. TOP   Am I able to book more than one property at the same time?  Yes.  When you select your 1st property to book, the Reservation will be saved and appear on the top of the following page. You can then select additional properties to book in the same process or proceed to finalise the one reservation. TOP   What is the Promotion Code box for?  From time to time, we may have special promotions that usually appear on either our Home Page or Our Property Range page. TOP   We have a group of 3 families with a total of 17 people but, when we search for available properties for this number, nothing shows up as being available.  The On-Line Booking Manager searches for available properties that can accommodate the total number of persons entered in one property. As the maximum number of guests any one property can accommodate is currently 12, if the numbers entered are more than 12 or if our larger properties aren't available, the system will return a "no properties available" message and you will need to select a number of properties to accommodate your needs. By limiting the number of guests to, say, 4 or 6, in your initial search, OBM will show a range of of properties (subject to availability) and you can then select each property individually, by checking the maximum number of guests for each property and clicking the More Info link for each property to calculate tariffs. (Also see booking multiple properties) You can also email us with your requirements and we will offer you suggestions. TOP   Can I use the On-Line Booking Manager to make additional payments?  The system will automatically advise you when a final payment is due and, if paying by Credit Card, give you a link to our Payment Gateway for payment. Unfortunately, it cannot be used to make additional or progress payments. To do this, email us at reservations@lakeshores.com advising us of the additional payment amount.
