We are a family owned enterprise and have been providing holiday and short accommodation along the East Lake Macquarie Seaboard on the lower north coast of NSW since 1996 (ABN 91 270 704 539)
We appreciated very early on that the internet was going to have huge changes on how the holiday accommodation industry was going do business in future years and developed out own, vey rudimentary, On-Line Booking system in 1998.As specialist On-Line Reservation Systems appeared on the market , we tried 3 commercial (2 American and an Australian) booking systems but found that they were either unreliable or, as the number of our On-Line Bookings grew, became an increasingly large cost of doing business.
We also found that we were in the hands of other people, who were not as reliable or professional as we required, so we again went out onto the market with five criteria.
